You see, I was a busy, dizzy at-home mom, with a million jobs–and sometimes it got a bit heavy! On this particular day, as I staggered (OK, slight exaggeration–I WALKED–grin) from the laundry room back to my office, I sighed aloud, “Lord, I don’t know HOW I do it!”

I checked my mail and read four sigh-stopping words, “Thanks for being there,” from a Christian woman I’ve never met. She was so kind and grateful, thanking me for Peggie’s Place and the encouragement she’s found there. I smiled–it was as though God had heard that sigh and answered with a little note that flew across cyberspace into my box–and my soul–just when I needed it.

I had my answer, not only HOW but WHY! I quickly wrote back, almost in tears, “YOU–and thousands of others like you–are the reason I do it–and HE is the energy and thought behind it all! Thank you for reminding me of that!”

HOW do I do it all–and how do YOU do it all? It’s by the grace and help of our Heavenly Father that we juggle the balls and jingle the bells–we all carry heavy loads! Sometimes they’re physical, mental, emotional, spiritual–but remember, we don’t carry them alone. He carries the biggest end of the load–and we CAN make it, with His help!

So next time, when you pray–or sigh–aloud or even in the quiet of your heart, remember HE is listening!! Hold on to that little thought in your busy day today–and have a great day!
