He proved it to Jason, our then-16-year-old “kid” who was halfway between being Mama’s little boy and the grown-up young man he has become! You see, he had knee surgery way-back-when (2001), and the surgeon, all prepared to repair a “torn miniscus” (ligament), did a double-take! The image on the MRI did NOT match the knee on the operating table. There WAS no “torn miniscus” – what happened? Ask Jason! He believes the “Great Physician” got to that ligament before the doctor–and with His Almighty Hand, healed it! “I had a MIRACLE!” he said with a big grin! “Lots of people were prayin’ for me!”
WOW! We can read Bible stories to our kids, teach them to pray, take them to church, even lead them in the sinner’s prayer–but when they PERSONALLY find out for themselves that prayer works, that a loving God loves THEM personally, the faith level of yet ANOTHER generation goes a little higher…’cause they’ve seen it first-hand!
Now Jason would have some pain and healing needed to take place, for other repairs were done–but the surgery was not as extensive as planned. He would not be mowing the lawn or marching in the band for a little while–BUT he DID hobble on his crutches to the preschool area of our church where he was a teacher’s aid, and he was able to tell a group of little four-year-olds who prayed for him, that Jesus heals–”He did it for ME!”
Have you personally experienced a wonderful testimony of healing–of body, mind, soul, or spirit? Tell it to someone–let the praise of our Lord resound across the mountains and valleys, the oceans and seas of our earth–He remains faithful to generation after generation…yes, He LOVES His Kids–and we are ALL HIS KIDS…He will be faithful to US ALL…let us praise His Name!

“Lord, You are the God of every generation. We learn to put our trust in You daily; we teach our kids to do the same–and then they experience it–and WOW! Thank You, Lord, for your faithfulness to EVERY generation…and thanks for loving us ALL…we are truly YOUR KIDS and we are proud to proclaim Your praise, In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
