You see, when God brings two people together for a lifetime, it will get off-the-chart ratings of the bride and the groom, the kids that follow–and the crowd of friends and well-wishers who watch! Like all TV shows, it’s not perfect, for sometimes the screen’s fuzzy, or the wires cross; sometimes the tape breaks or the TV tube burns out. And sometimes, in a “real live” show, “someone” messes up the script and ends up in-the-doghouse for a day or two (OK, an hour or two…grin!), but it’s always a hit in heaven’s eyes!
The Lord who put it together knows how to keep it together…He’s the real “Someone” who makes it happen and this weekend, we’d like you to celebrate His goodness with us–as we pray for you and God’s love, joy, and peace in YOUR life and marriage too. Someone “up there” cares about us all–single, married, wish-to-be, or widowed. We–and lots of you–are proof that the Adam-and-Eve “leave-and-cleave” stuff still works! And so–find yourself a seat with us on the sofa, share your popcorn–and we will rerun it again–with love, laughter–and a LOT of gratitude to the Producer who makes it all happen!
God bless! It’s a “mushy day” so go find someone to hug–share our joy–and have a wonderful day!

Prayer: “Lord, thank You for Your wonderful plan of marriage designed from Creation to bring sunshine and blessing into our lives. Wedding Anniversary Ceremony
John and Nancy were married for 40 years and decided they wanted to
renew their vows and planned a second wedding. They were discussing the
details with their friends. Nancy wasn’t going to wear a traditional
bridal gown and she started describing the dress she was planning to
wear.
One of her friends asked what color shoes she had to go with the
dress. Nancy replied, “Silver.” At that point, her husband chimed in,
“Yep silver…to match her hair.” Shooting a glaring look at John’s bald
spot, Nancy’s friend said, “So John, I guess you are going barefoot.”
